Hello once we are at the campsite are we actually allowed to leave the site to go and get food or takeaway?

Yes,you are allowed to leave the site as their security gates will recognise your cars number plate or if you are walking you will be given a gate code to come back .

We didn’t do any cycling but there are a variety of routes from a couple of Km’s to 20+. Not sure how scenic they are but check on mapmyride website for more info, that should help
I understood you could just visit the petting zoo even if you were not camping. I know someone who did that but you receptionist said this is not allowed if not a resident. What is the answer please

If someone you know is camping there you can buy a day pass to visit them. However there are only rabbits chickens and very cute Pygmy Goats and some birds in cages - it’s a lovely …
If someone you know is camping there you can buy a day pass to visit them. However there are only rabbits chickens and very cute Pygmy Goats and some birds in cages - it’s a lovely addition if you are staying there but it isn’t really a day out for your children. Make a weekend of it staying there would be my advice do some fishing enjoy the free activities they put on for them. Hope that helps
