A new mural in tribute of Diogo Jota has been completed near Anfield by artist John Culshaw. The mural is one of the many fan tributes outside Anfield to Jota, who died in a car crash near Zamora, Spain alongside his brother André Silva. The piece shows Jota in a moment of celebration with his hands depicting a heart.

Liverpool players and fans have paid tribute to Diogo Jota in the Premier League champion’s first game since the forward died in a car accident.

A minute’s silence will be observed and digital tributes will be displayed. Both sets of players will wear black armbands
