Starbucks is testing a new Protein Cold Foam in select locations. Here's everything you need to know about the brand's newest innovation.

Starbucks shared that their protein powder should be able to be added to any of its cold foam flavors, but the current testing version is a banana cold foam, FoodSided reported. They’re starting the testing with Starbucks’ Iced Caffe Latte.

The protein cold foam joins a lineup of new items coming to the Starbucks menu, including limited-edition Strato Frappuccinos, raspberry croissants filled with jam, double chocolate cookies with sea salt and croissants baked freshly in stores. A new coffee, Starbucks 1971 Roast, is also set to debut later this year.
