South Carolina women’s basketball legend A’ja Wilson remains the best player in the world. The three-time WNBA MVP is coming off of her best overall season, one in which she broke multiple league records.
According to a report published by the Associated Press, the injury occurred with four minutes, 13 seconds left in the second quarter when Wilson drove down the lane to go for a layup, but landed awkwardly after being fouled. Wilson lay on the floor for a few minutes until she could get up and walk to the Aces bench inside the Barclays Center.
