While the Celtics cruised to the 2024 NBA title — also known as Banner No. 18 — the road back to the NBA Finals looks different. The C’s went 16-3 in the playoffs last year, never losing more than one game in each series. But the league boasts a few other title contenders that could give the Celtics trouble in the coming weeks.

Or at least that is the position taken by Celtics analyst Dan Greenberg on a recent episode of the CLNS Media "Celtics Beat" podcast.

Boston is led by the star duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, but also has several players capable of 30-plus-point outings like Derrick White and Kristaps Porziņģis. It's hard to argue that there is a team deeper than the Celtics this year.
