The Dallas Cowboys are playing a football game for the first time in 216 days. And while this one won't count for anything official, the 2025 preseason opener versus the Los Angeles Rams should start to give fans a fair idea of what new head coach Brian Schottenheimer and his revamped staff have accomplished with the past seven months.

Los Angeles Rams rookie running back Jarquez Hunter hasn't earned too much screen time this offseason since he was drafted in the fourth round out of Auburn. Starter Kyren Williams has seen most of the first-team reps this summer and backup Blake Corum started the team's first preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys.
