Hurricane Erin is not a major hurricane, weakening to a Category 2 hurricane this morning as it moves closer to the East Coast, according to the National Hurricane Center.

The Delaware State Parks does not charge for parking at its beaches, but all the state parks have entrance fees in place through Nov. 30.

Delaware has a wide variety of beach options, from bustling family-friendly towns to ones suited for nightlife, but there's a more laid-back option nearby, too.
