Starter Spencer Schwellenbach is having elbow issues and will miss at least the first two months of the 2026 season.

The Atlanta Braves are in a tough spot when it comes to starting pitching, just one year removed from battling the injury bug throughout the entire season. The most recent blow to the rotation came Sunday, when the Braves announced that Hurston Waldrep is undergoing testing due to arm discomfort.
