Lawyers for Blake Lively have issued a new statement in support of the actress amid her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni.

The attorney for Justin Baldoni said on Tuesday that the on-set tensions and allegations of sexual harassment from Blake Lively against his client — "It Ends With Us" director and co-star Justin Baldoni — stemmed from the "unfortunate fact" that Lively did not read the book the film was based on.

Ryan Reynolds is stepping out for the first time since his wife Blake Lively filed a formal lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, attending the National Board Awards in New York City on Jan. 7.
