Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino starred in 1997's 'Romy and Michele's High School Reunion' with Alan Cumming and Janeane Garofalo

Robin Schiff, who wrote the original and is known for showrunning the Neflix hit Emily in Paris, returned to pen the sequel. Laurence Marks, the veteran producer who produced the original, is also back in same role. Barry Kemp, the creator of 1980s series Newhart, is also producing.

Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow are officially reuniting. The actresses are in final talks to reprise their roles for a Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion sequel, according to The Hollywood Reporter. They are also set to serve as executive producers on the project.
