Edvin F. Franco, 25, of Glendale has been identified as one of the four Army soldiers killed in a military training accident in Lithuania.

The Army has released the identity of the fourth soldier who died in a training accident in Lithuania, a day after his body was recovered during a weeklong search that took hundreds of troops and other rescue workers from three nations.

A fourth U.S. Army soldier, who together with three others went missing in Lithuania last week when their vehicle sank in a peat bog, has been found dead, U.S. and Lithuanian officials said on Tuesday.

Knutson-Collins, 28, was the final soldier recovered from an M88A2 Hercules recovery vehicle that sank in a Lithuanian swamp on March 25. Hundreds of U.S. and Lithuanian soldiers, sailors and civilians worked around the clock to retrieve the four missing in the crash.

The soldier was part of a team of four who disappeared a week ago while conducting military drills near the border with Belarus.

The fourth and final soldier from Fort Stewart, Georgia who died in a training exercise in Lithuania has been identified. Officials identified SSgt. Troy S. Knutson-Collins, 28, of Battle Creek, Michigan as the last soldier who died.

Sgt. Jose Duenez Jr., 25, was married and the father of a 1-year-old son. Duenez was an M1 Abrams tank system maintainer and had served more than seven years in the Army. He and three others died when their armored vehicle sank in a bog.
