LSU head coach Lane Kiiffin has posted a cryptic countdown on his social media prior to closure of the transfer portal.

LSU Tigers snag Ohio State safety Faheem Delane, brother of former star Mansoor, bolstering their defensive backfield with elite talent.

Delane is the younger brother of former LSU star cornerback Mansoor Delane, who was a unanimous All-America selection in his one season with the Tigers. Mansoor Delane transferred to LSU after three years at Virginia. He is now projected to be a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
