A woman died after being pinned by her own vehicle against a parked car in the Pocket area of Sacramento, police said Tuesday.

The fatal incident happened just before 6 p.m. outside a Bel Air supermarket in the 7400 block of Rush River Drive, said Sacramento Police Department officials. Officers called to the woman trapped between the vehicles dispatched Sacramento Fire Department personnel, who tended to the woman and later pronounced her dead from her injuries.
