Henkel, a shampoo company in Mexico, has recalled 1,068 units of shampoo due to possible exposure to a bacteria that can lead to eye, nose and skin infections, and possibly more adverse reactions to consumers who have compromised immune systems.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced on March 28 that Cargill Kitchen Solutions recalled approximately 212,268 pounds of liquid egg products over possible contamination with sodium hypochlorite, the main ingredient in bleach.

The recall applies to retailers in the United States, but the shampoo, which potentially contains Klebsiella oxytoca bacteria, can also be purchased online in Europe. View on euronews

The report includes four different liquid egg products produced on March 12 and 13, all marked with the establishment number “G1804.”
Over 212,000 pounds of liquid egg products that were possibly distributed nationwide are being recalled, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said.
