The Jazz's 2024-25 campaign closed with a 116-105 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, securing the team at least a top-five pick in the 2025 NBA draft.

The Utah Jazz’s 51st year was their worst ever. Far eclipsing the previous record set by the inaugural 1974-75 New Orleans Jazz (who held a 23-59 record by the season’s final game), this 2024-25 team broke new ground for how poorly the Jazz could play on the court.

The Utah Jazz are having an all-time bad season, and even though they're not winning games they seem to be positioning themselves quite well for an elite talent in this year's NBA Draft. While it's no guarantee Utah will earn the number one pick, perhaps Duke star Cooper Flagg could be in the team's future very soon.

It was a good thing for the Timberwolves that the NBA rescinded the technical foul Anthony Edwards received in Friday’s game. As Edwards’ teammates struggled to find a groove against a tanking Utah team, Edwards put the Wolves on his back in the third quarter Sunday at Target Center and broke open what became a 116-105 win for the Wolves.

Anthony Edwards had 18 of his 43 points in the third quarter to help the Minnesota Timberwolves pull away from the Utah Jazz for a 116-105 victory to secure a spot in the playoffs and stay out of the play-in games.
