The Eagles acquired wide receiver John Metchie in a trade with the Texans last week, and Metchie said today that he's eager to find a way to make the best team in the NFL even better.

Metchie caught five of eight targets for 45 yards while adding 23 yards on one kickoff return in Houston's 20-10 preseason loss to the Vikings in Week 1. Philadelphia officially announced the move on Monday, reuniting Metchie with DeVonta Smith and other former Alabama teammates.

After arriving in Philly, the new Eagles WR couldn't help but recognize several new teammates he once played with and against, making it feel "like home."
