ELGIN, Ill. (WLS) -- For nearly two centuries, Elgin Academy has served generations of students, hosting more than 150 ceremonies, such as the 8th grade graduation on the campus quad on Thursday.

This year’s eighth-grade class was welcomed into Syosset High School with moving up ceremonies. H.B. Thompson Middle School and South Woods Middle School held individual ceremonies for their students.
