The new GeForce RTX 5090 is the top of the line and the star of the show (so much so that it actually leaked just hours before it was officially unveiled), but Nvidia is actually launching four new 50-series GPUs at CES 2025, with the desktop models starting to ship this month and laptop versions arriving in March.

Here they are! Nvidia's RTX 50-series GPUs, based on its 'Blackwell' architecture, are coming soon, with giant performance boosts in tow for gaming and content creation with AI models.

After months of speculation and anticipation, Nvidia finally lifted the cover off its latest lineup of consumer graphics cards, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5000 series, starting with the flagship RTX 5090.

Nvidia revealed its next generation of graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 50-series, at CES this week. There are four new GPUs in the lineup: the Geforce RTX 5090, 5080, 5070, and 5070 Ti.

Nvidia’s new GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards have been officially revealed and they are beastly. The RTX 5090 will cost $2,000 and require a recommended power supply of 1kW, or roughly the equivalent of running a belt sander non-stop.

Following up Nvidia's Lovelace GPUs, the Blackwell-based RTX 5000 series is expected to be substantially more powerful, with the rumor mill putting the RTX 5080 around 10% faster than the RTX 4090, currently the best graphics card on the consumer market.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 is a massive GPU that just got announced at CES 2025, and it rightfully deserves its size and stature by bringing monstrous gameplay performance and AI power to usher in the next generation of gaming graphics — something that I got to witness for myself.

Nvidia is truly masterful at one thing: perfectly showcasing the graphics cards at the launch of a new GPU generation. This isn’t bad in itself; after all, a fruit seller at the market also advertises his bright red apples as a real treat.
