Freedom and Liberty, the two wild bald eagles featured on the Blue Springs, Missouri Eagle Cam, laid a third egg on Feb. 16, President's Day. A coincidence, the birds' fans enjoyed. The pair of patriotically-named bald eagles laid two more eggs earlier this month, per NBC affiliate WFLA. Bald eagles are the national bird of the U.S.

I spent last Saturday afternoon watching and photographing wildlife along the Egin-Hamer Road, in Fremont and Jefferson counties, and the agricultural lands north of Hamer. I timed my travels to end at Camas National Wildlife Refuge so I could watch the bald eagles fly into roost for the night.
