Footage shows the black wolf with a mystical quality – as other wolves remain mostly hidden – amid steam at a Yellowstone thermal area.

A wildlife conservation group in Poland was conducting research on beavers when they spotted two rare black wolves on video footage captured in a forest last year.

The first shows a black wolf slowly padding through the stream before jumping onto the bank, followed by a gray-colored wolf. The second clip shows two black wolves crossing the stream.
