White extended his streak of 20-point games to a career-best seven, helping the Bulls rally to win their season-high fourth in a row.

Last season, White emerged as a potential primary option for the Bulls. He ended the year with averages of 19.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.1 assists shooting 44.7% from the field and 37.6% from deep. Yet, rather than deciding to build around White as the primary ball-handler, the Bulls front office decided to trade for Josh Giddey.

White also has become craftier, putting just the right touch on his releases to spin the ball into the basket. Sometimes, he uses a nifty drag step to dupe defenders, reminiscent of White’s former Bulls teammate Lauri Markkanen. White’s increased strength from then to now helps him absorb contact at the rim as well.
