BAY COUNTY — A vessel struck Bay County’s bridge to Tyndall Air Force Base Wednesday evening. According to a post from Tyndall’s Facebook page, DuPont Bridge was closed completely at about 9:30 p.m.
Bay County commissioners approved a $6.5 million contract to replace a water main near Dupont Bridge. The current water main, installed in 1967, will be upgraded from a 16-inch pipe to a 24-inch pipe.
