Patriots’ Saturday game won’t be on local TV in much of Mass. Here’s why.
It’s a big “Bah, Humbug” from the NFL to New England Patriots fans living in Western Mass. Because of the league’s broadcast rules, the game won’t be on local TV in much of Massachusetts. That’s because the league decided to move the Patriots' Week 17 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers to Saturday and have it air on NFL Network.
Announcers set for Patriots Week 17 game vs. Chargers
According to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, Chris Rose will handle the play-by-play duties, while Ross Tucker will handle the analysis. Steve Wyche will be on the sideline for the NFL Network contest, as the Patriots look to get their fourth win of the season.
