LeBron James singles out Tyrese Maxey after the Philadelphia 76ers knocked off the Los Angeles Lakers at home.

Tyrese Maxey scored 43 points to lead a Philadelphia 76ers team without injured Joel Embiid and Paul George to a 118-104 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.

Before the Eagles head to New Orleans for a Super Bowl matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, several players attended Tuesday’s Sixers game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Los Angeles Lakers head to Spectrum Center to face the Charlotte Hornets in a non-conference matchup. The Lakers are 24-18, which puts them in fifth place in the Western Conference. The Hornets are 11-30, which puts them in 13th place in the Eastern Conference.

The Charlotte Hornets (12-30) will host the Los Angeles Lakers (25-18) in their first matchup of the season. The second game, originally scheduled for January 9, has been postponed to February 19 due to the wildfires in Los Angeles.
