Leading nominee Beyoncé won her first award of the day for her song featuring Miley Cyrus, “II Most Wanted.” It took home the country duo/group performance during the Grammy’s Premiere Ceremony. It marked Beyoncé’s first win in a country category.

Swift went 0-6 last night, marking the first time she hasn’t won any awards with six or more nominations. She lost Album of the Year to Beyoncé, Song of the Year and Record of the Year to Kendrick Lamar, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, Best Pop Vocal Album to Sabrina Carpenter, and Best Music Video to Kendrick Lamar.

Taylor Swift stunned on the Grammys red carpet wearing a custom Vivienne Westwood gown. Her beaded red "T" chain hovered over her upper thigh setting the social media world on fire.

Beyonce looked visibly shocked after Swift read her name as the winner, and the two music industry icons exchanged pleasantries on stage as Swift handed Beyonce her latest Grammy award. As Swift walked backstage, the cameras caught the her comment about Beyonce. “That was really sweet," Swift said. "You could tell she was so shocked, actually.”

After a whirlwind year of releasing an album and ending her Eras Tour which she brought to, Taylor Swift was nominated for six Grammy Awards.

"I'd like to thank all the incredible country artists that accepted this album," Beyoncé said. Swift won the award herself in 2010.

Beyoncé won her first Grammy award for best country album at the 2025 Grammy Awards. The singer was presented the award by Taylor Swift for her 2024 album, 'Cowboy Carter.'

Beyoncé also picked up the best country duo/group performance award for “II Most Wanted,” in tandem with Miley Cyrus. The award was given out during the Grammys’ pre-telecast Premiere Ceremony, in which the vast majority of the night’s honors are handed out prior to the performance-heavy prime-time telecast.
