Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear has declared a state of emergency ahead of a four-day weather event set to hit the Commonwealth.Wednesday will bring the risk of severe storms for many, with some parts of the state under a high risk for severe storms.

This bout of severe weather is forecasted to span four days and bring potentially "historic" amounts of rainfall, strong winds, and tornadic conditions.
