On Wednesday, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) launched the inaugural Women's Bangladesh Premier League, which is set to be held in April later this year. Recently, the BCB also introduced the Odommo T20 Cup for the men's team following their decision to boycott the T20 World Cup.
Bangladesh are missing from the ongoing T20 World Cup after refusing to travel to India for their matches citing security concerns. Their Sports Advisor Nazrul made explosive statements during that period only to blame BCB and players in the matter later.
