Charlie Kirk's assassination inspired some sick users to create online missions depicting the tragic shooting in "Grand Theft Auto Online" ... but, the game's parent company says the scenarios are now banned.

In the days after a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer fatally shot Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis on Jan. 7, 2026, social media users circulated an image appearing to show Good mocking the 2025 death of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot in the neck.

Hood County Commissioner's Court renamed Williamson Road near Granbury to Charlie Kirk Memorial Parkway. Kirk was a influential conservative leader who was assassinated in September.

Rockstar has clearly decided it doesn't want any part of this near GTA Online, because it has banned the "We Are Charlie Kirk" mission. Rockstar has also added "Charlie Kirk" to GTA Online's profanity filter, meaning players cannot search for any future content that may be created using his name.
