The Chicago Cubs have shown interest in Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke’Bryan Hayes, according to Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

With the trade deadline approaching quickly, the Chicago Cubs are bound to make some big moves. Although they have been considered one of the best teams so far this year, they still have needs.

The Talkin' Baseball crew predicts the Cubs to end up with a couple of stars. They've got both Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suarez and Guardians closer Emmanuel Clase ending up in Chicago. Suarez is having an incredible season, with 31 homers already. He was hit by pitch in the All-Star Game but stayed in and seemingly is fine.
