The Ducks were the darlings of the NHL in the first couple of months of the season. From a young and exciting team that was putting up big numbers and getting great goaltending from Lukas Dostal. At one point, Anaheim was contending for the top spot in the Pacific Division.
Against all odds and with key players sidelined, the Ducks delivered a dominant 60-minute effort to snap their winless streak.
The Dallas Stars will be a little shorthanded on Tuesday night against the Anaheim Ducks. Just before the game, the team announced top defenseman Miro Heiskanen will be out “due to a personal family matter.” Veteran defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin is stepping in to replace Heiskanen for the time being.
