After a break Sunday, storm chances return next week from Monday, April 28, through Wednesday, April 30. There’s threat for strong to severe storms each day, especially on Tuesday, April 29, according to the NWS. As of Friday, specific weather threats and impact areas are uncertain at this time.

Dallas County and parts of Tarrant and Ellis counties were under a flash flood warning until after 9 a.m. The National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office warned that strong thunderstorms were moving east at 30 miles per hour, with wind gusts of more than 40 mph.

The lull in precipitation will allow temperatures to climb well into the 80s Friday afternoon, so it will feel warm outside.
