An investigation is underway after a fire that broke out at the Nazarene Christian Academy in New Bedford early Monday morning.

According to Helm, Nazarene Christian Academy, 764 Hathaway Road, serves grades pre-K through 12, and had 280 students last school year. The school began over 40 years ago as a preschool, he said.
