Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart gave New York Giants fans reasons to be optimistic about the team's future via his first two preseason outings in August. It sounds like Dart is also quickly becoming a favorite among his teammates.

However, Dart has been solid in the Giants' two preseason games so far, completing 26 of 35 passes for 291 yards and two touchdowns. He also has rushed for 29 yards and one touchdown. Dart was one of eight players from the Ole Miss Rebels to be selected in the 2025 NFL Draft and one of two first-round selections.

Jaxson Dart shined in his preseason home debut for the New York Giants as they beat the Jets 31-12. Dart got time with the first-team offense, at one point completed 13 consecutive passes and threw for a touchdown and ran for another.
