NEW YORK (TNND) — The widow of the "hero" off-duty police officer who was killed in a mass shooting at a Midtown Manhattan office building gave birth to the couple's third child on Sunday.

NYPD Detective Didarul Islam's widow Jamila gave birth to the couple's third son, Arham, the department shared on social media.

The slain suspect, Lahione Soto, is suspected in a string of nearby holdups in the minutes leading up to the shooting, police sources said.
