Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel attended an anti-Trump "No Kings" protest over the weekend and praised nationwide demonstrations against President Donald Trump.

Protests are being organized in Tennessee and across the nation as President Donald Trump plans to celebrate his birthday with a speech after the U.S. Army's 250th anniversary parade on June 14.

The parade, which falls on President Trump’s 79th birthday, kicked off earlier than expected with thunderstorms forecast in the Washington area.

"Our victim was not the intended target," said Redd, who added that Ah Loo, 39, was just participating in the march.

More than 5 million people participated, according to organizers.

Police said the shooting took place when an armed man allegedly raised a gun and ran towards a protest crowd.
