Sanju Samson became the first player to register three hundreds in T20Is in a calendar year during the 4th T20I against South Africa at The Wanderers in Johannesburg. Samson hammered nine sixes and struck six boundaries during his stay in the middle.

Sanju Samson's powerful six hit a female fan during India's dominant 135-run win over South Africa in the fourth T20I, where Samson and Tilak Varma both scored centuries, setting new records.

While Tilak smashed 10 maximums, Sanju tonked 9 during his stay in the middle. One of Sanju’s sixes went on to hit a spectator at the Wanderers in Johannesburg. The incident happened in the second ball of the 10th over when the wicketkeeper-batter slog-swept Tristian Stubbs’ tossed for a second consecutive six.

Sanju Samson immediately had his hand up to say sorry to the lady after his shot hit her on the face but she was left inconsolable.
