IMAX tickets for Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" are now on sale an entire year before the movie comes out – and screenings are already selling out.

A Journey Begins” is the tagline for Christopher Nolan’s next film “The Odyssey.” Few movie lovers expected the quest to start so early. Imax tickets for “The Odyssey” will go on sale on July 17, 2025 — an entire year before the Universal Pictures action epic is slated to hit the big screen.

“Superman,” the newly rebooted comic book adventure starring David Corenswet as the Man of Steel, flew to $122 million in its first weekend of release. Those are strong ticket sales, enough to rank as the year’s third-largest debut after “A Minecraft Movie” ($162 million) and “Lilo & Stitch” ($146 million).
