Target has reduced its full-year sales forecast, with its CEO signaling price rises over tariffs have not been ruled out and blaming declining sales in part on backlash to rolling back diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts.

After announcing a rollback of DEI initiatives, a boycott of the retailer has led to a decline in sales and foot traffic.
