With so many household names in the mix and so much love for the original film, is 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' setting itself up for unrealistic expectations?

B.J. Novak, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu and more are joining the highly anticipated sequel film "The Devil Wears Prada 2."

Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt were the first cast members confirmed to reprise their roles for the sequel. In June 2025, 20th Century Studios at last confirmed that Anne Hathaway and Stanley Tucci will also return. The company shared a video on Instagram announcing that the sequel is now in production, tagging both Hathaway and Tucci.
