Former Notre Dame head coach, Lou Holtz, is at it again. The former Fighting Irish head coach loves to keep his name in the headlines any way he can, and now he’s using a beef with Ohio State’s Ryan Day to do just that.

Ohio State has embraced their new rivalry with Lou Holtz, and some Buckeyes fans trolled the legendary Notre Dame coach with an awesome sign during the College Football Playoff National Championship game on Monday night.

Lou Holtz may not get to celebrate a Notre Dame title in Atlanta. Notre Dame is down 31-23 to Ohio State in the National Championship Game. The Fighting Irish allowed 31 straight points after opening the contest with a 15-play touchdown drive that lasted nine minutes and 45 minutes.

It's no surprise that Lou Holtz is picking Notre Dame to beat Ohio State for the national championship, but he took another little shot at Ryan Day in the process.

It was just a matter of time until Ryan Day and Lou Holtz drama was stirred up again with Ohio State set to play Notre Dame in the National Championship on Monday. Holtz questioned the physicality of the Buckeyes ahead of last year’s matchup when Ohio State won 17-14.
