Rashawn Slater, a former first-round draft pick and one of the leaders on the Chargers' offensive line, has agreed to a four-year contract extension with the team.

The Chargers and star left tackle Rashawn Slater are finalizing a four-year, $114 million contract extension with $92 million guaranteed, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo reported on Sunday.

The 2021 NFL Draft featured one of the most talented offensive line classes in recent memory. The group was spearheaded by bookend tackles Penei Sewell and Rashawn Slater from Oregon and Northwestern respectively.
