Taste of the City Lounge in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, was the site of a deadly shooting in August 2025, where three people were killed and nine more were injured.And after the dust had settled, it was reported that two of the three men who'd been killed allegedly had ties to a local gang,

The three people killed were all men who lived in New York City, and NYPD officials said two of them fired shots during the incident.

The NYPD says 19-year-old Marvin St. Louis, 27-year-old Amadou Diallo, and 35-year-old Jamel Childs, were all shot and killed inside Taste of the City Lounge on Franklin Avenue. Detectives say Childs and Martin St. Lewis have been identified as the shooters.
