GM Daniel Briere said the trade that sent Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee to Calgary shouldn't be viewed as a proverbial punt on 2024-25.

Two days ago, the Flyers made one of their biggest trades under the Danny Brière era. The Flyers acquired wingers Jakob Pelletier and Andrei Kuzmenko, a second-round pick in 2025, and a seventh-rounder in 2028 from the Calgary Flames for Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost.

The Philadelphia Flyers announced they have acquired forwards Andrei Kuzmenko and Jakob Pelletier, as well as a second-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft and seventh round pick in the 2028 NHL Draft from the Calgary Flames in exchange for forwards Joel Farabee and Morgan Frost, according to General Manager, Daniel Briere.
