Anne Burrell, a chef and television personality whose joyful demeanor made her a beloved fixture on the Food Network, has died, according to the network. She was 55.

Anne Burrell, an acclaimed chef from upstate New York, hosted "Secrets of a Restaurant Chef," "Worst Cooks in America" and other popular Food Network shows.

The chef hosted 27 seasons of the beloved food series, along with appearing in 'The Next Iron Chef,' 'Chopped' and 'Cutthroat Kitchen,' among others.
