A former police chief and convicted killer known as the “Devil in the Ozarks” has been captured after he escaped from prison.

Grant Hardin, the former Arkansas police chief who escaped a Calico Rock, Ark., prison on May 25, has been captured, according to the Stone County Sheriff’s Office.
