Jimmy Fallon has appeared in a YouTube Short confirming he'll be hosting the Pixel 10 launch where Google will announce "secret" products.

Alphabet’s Google introduced on Wednesday (August 20) a new lineup of Pixel smartphones and gadgets, intensifying its efforts to embed artificial intelligence across a wide ecosystem of products, and it had a well known name to help sell the new products. Julian Satterthwaite reports.

Instead, it went for buzz with paid celeb appearances, including event host Jimmy Fallon and others like Stephen Curry, podcaster Alex Cooper, the Jonas Brothers, and more. The result was a watered-down, cringey, and at times almost QVC-like sales event, which Reddit users immediately dubbed “unwatchable.”

At today's Made by Google event, the company dropped a whole lot of new hardware, including the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel 10 Pro XL, Pixel 2A earbuds and Pixel watch 4. All the new Pixel devices are available to preorder starting today.

Google will unveil the Pixel 10 series tonight in Brooklyn, marking ten years of Pixel phones, with surprise “secret products” expected during the launch event.

Google teased a star-studded Pixel 10 keynote, and it now turns out that Jimmy Fallon will actually be hosting Made by Google 2025.
