Longstreet has now joined a quarterback room including Arizona State transfer Sam Leavitt and former Elon QB Landen Cark. LSU now has 28 incoming transfers, opposed to 34 outgoing players, and according to 247Sports, the Tigers have number one transfer portal class.

Former Colorado Buffaloes offensive tackle Jordan Seaton is a highly sought-after player in the transfer portal. Seaton will visit the LSU Tigers, one of the several top programs targeting the offensive tackle.

Not long after being predicted to end up in Ann Arbor, Whittingham managed to secure former LSU four-star QB Colin Hurley, who still has three years of eligibility remaining. He was in the same class (2024) as departee Jadyn Davis.
