With that established, below CBS Sports has highlighted five names worth knowing in the 2026 MLB Draft. Mind you, this is not a ranking or a projection of the top of next year's class. It's merely an introduction to the group through the examination of five particularly interesting players.
C HICAGO –– The White Sox wrapped up the 2025 MLB Draft on Monday with their 20th selection. The draft class features nine pitchers (eight right-handers and one left-hander), four outfielders, five infielders and two catchers.
