Oscar-winning filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro's "Frankenstein" is set for theatrical release on Oct. 17. The horror movie will then premiere on Netflix Nov. 7.

Netflix is putting Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein in "select" theaters before releasing it on the streaming platform.

It takes a very special Netflix movie to get a theatrical release before hitting the streamer, and Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein is certainly that. Netflix just announced it’ll release the monster movie in select theaters on October 17 before debuting on the platform November 7.
