Nvidia has announced a major update to its RTX 40-series graphics cards and the Nvidia App ahead of Gamescom 2025, introducing Smooth Motion, global DLSS overrides, and a host of quality-of-life upgrades for gamers. Smooth Motion is now available for RTX 40-series GPUs, enabling driver-level AI frame generation in unsupported games.

And Nvidia has a new use for your home bandwidth, too. If you’ve got enough, GFN will also now let you stream at 5K resolution (for both 16:9 monitors and ultrawides) at 120fps, or at up to 360fps at 1080p.

NVIDIA has a 'GeForce On Community Update' event coming later today, and felt the need to clarify that it isn't going to be airing any new graphics cards.
